ARIZONA CARDINAL (1.23, nap) is fancied to take his record over fences to 2-2 with a victory in the M.I.P. Novices’ Handicap Chase at Uttoxeter on Sunday.
Stuart Edmunds’ six-year-old returned from a 210-day break – he had a wind operation during his absence – to beat Mucho Mas by a neck at Bangor-On-Dee at the end of October.
And a 5lb rise in the weights shouldn’t stop another good account against seven rivals over a longer trip which he has proved he can handle.
