THE well-bred COPPICE (3.35) looked an exciting prospect when making an impressive winning debut at Kempton in October, going away to beat Whispering Dream by one and three-quarter lengths.
The runner-up franked the form by winning easily at Kempton next time out.
And the John and Thady Gosden three-year-old, who is the daughter of Kingman and sister to smart 6f winner Calyx, can take the Lanwades Stud Nell Gwyn Stakes at Newmarket en route to bigger things under Frankie Dettori.
BOLD ACT (3.00) can live up his name in the bet365 Feilden Stakes and maintain his unbeaten record.
The Charlie Appleby-trained son of New Approach is unbeaten in four outings since his July Course debut second to Highbank.
Last time out, over a mile at Chelmsford, he stayed on well to see off the decent Brave Emperor by half a length and the further one furlong of today’s tip should see him to even better effect.
