NOMADIC EMPIRE (7.05) can strike back in the Fitzdares Sprint Series Qualifier Handicap over six furlongs at Windsor.
David O’Meara’s five-year-old had a few below-par efforts at the end of last season, but they were often on softer ground than he would have liked.
And after a couple of low-key runs this term, he dropped to a competitive weight for a valuable Haydock handicap over the same trip nine days ago. He ran on well to in the closing stages to finish third, beaten a neck and half a length behind Raatea.
With his yard in fine form at the moment, the selection remains well-treated on his best form and makes for plenty of appeal.
