It might only be the first weekend of the new Irish Premiership, but we think you will do well to find a better goal this season.
Newry City signalled their return to the top flight with a majestic strike from Thomas Lockhart.
In a goal worthy of the entrance fee alone, Lockhart dispatched a sublime volley from all of 40 yards which looped over the head of Carrick Rangers goalkeeper Ross Glendinning.

It gave Newry a 1-0 lead at Taylors Avenue and the perfect start to manager Darren Mullen's Premiership assault.
Irish League fans were quick to voice their praise on social media.
Chris tweeted: "That'll be deadly to beat, what a hit!"
Adam added: "Best goal I’ve ever seen live."
As you can imagine the rocket emoji was used quite frequently, while Sam said: "Jaysus! what a hit that is."
The goal was even shared on the main BBC Match of the Day Twitter account.
Take a bow, son...
