Newcastle United winger Miguel Almiron has bagged the April Premier League Goal of the Month award for his audacious strike against Crystal Palace in the Magpies 1-0 win.
Collecting a delightful outside of the boot pass from Bruno Guimaraes, Almiron burst past Palace defender Tyrick Mitchell down the right hand flank, cutting inside to unleash a curling left footed effort past keeper Vicente Guaita who had no chance to save the Paraguayan's shot.
Almiron's strike ended a year barren run in front of goal, with his last coming against Southampton in Feburary 2021.

It prompted wild scenes from the 28-year-old, who took his shirt off before running over to the St James' Park supporters, similar to when he scored his first Newcastle goal against Palace back in 2019.
"It was an incredible finish," said Eddie Howe after the Palace match.
"I was so pleased for him because he's one of the hardest workers and trainers. It was a great moment for him to share with the supporters. He picked up a yellow card early in the game but you'll excuse him that."
And Newcastle fans have taken to social media to voice their delight at Miggy's April award...
