Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe kept faith with Allan Saint-Maximin for the home clash with Leicester City this afternoon.
But there was no place for fit-again Jacob Murphy for Eddie Howe's side as he returned from an illness to take a place on the bench. Miguel Almiron took injured Ryan Fraser's place out wide after the Scotland international's hamstring injury sustained against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
There was also a notable return of former Argentina international Federico Fernandez on the bench. Jonjo Shelvey continued to captain the black and whites in the absence of Jamaal Lascelles.
