Magpies 'drop' interest in Reds midfielder Lingard
Newcastle United are said to have cooled their own interest in Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard, with the 29-year-old out of contract at Old Trafford later this year.
Denied a move away from the club by current interim boss Ralf Rangnick in January, the former West Ham loanee has long been linked with a move to the North east, with David Moyes also said to be interest too.

But according to Sports Mole, the Toon are set to focus their attention elsewhere this summer, despite his availability on a free transfer.
Lingard has featured sporadically for the Red Devils so far this season, starting just two Premier League games all season.
