Newcastle join race for Ukrainian winger
Newcastle have emerged as one of a number of clubs reportedly monitoring Dynamo Kyiv right-winger Viktor Tsygankov, according to a report from Jeunes Footeux.
The report adds that the Magpies are set to face competition from Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham United. The Ukrainian international is currently in the final year of his contract and is expected to leave Dynamo Kyiv at the end of the season.

The 24-year-old has scored 87 goals and provided 60 assists in 220 appearances for the Ukrainian club across all competitions and has also amassed 40 caps at international level.
Eddie Howe could very well renew his hunt for a winger in January after the Newcastle boss was unsuccessful in his attempts to sign Jack Harrison, Moussa Diaby or Callum Hudson-Odoi in the summer.
Magpies handed Asensio transfer boost
Reigning La Liga champions Real Madrid could be forced to offload Marco Asensio in January, according to The Express. The Spain international is in the final year of his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu and has been linked with Newcastle, Arsenal and AC Milan.
Real Madrid's bitter rivals FC Barcelona are the latest club to show an interest in Asensio, which has intensified rumours surrounding his exit from the Spanish capital.
The Express claim that Los Blancos will be unwilling to sell to their biggest enemy and that a move to the Premier League is his likeliest destination. The report adds that Real Madrid could sell during the winter transfer window as it will be their last opportunity to demand a transfer fee for the 26-year-old.
Asensio was linked with a move to St James' Park in the summer but opted to stay at Real Madrid to fight for his place. While talks of a new contract have failed to come into fruition, Asensio has played just 11 minutes across his side's first six games in La Liga this term.
He has scored 50 times in 239 games for Real Madrid and has lifted 14 trophies, including three La Liga and UEFA Champions League titles apiece since joining from Mallorca in 2016.
Man United plot transfer swoop for Newcastle target
Manchester United are plotting a move to sign Benfica forward Goncalo Ramos, according to The Sun. Ramos was linked with Newcastle in the summer before the Magpies secured the signing of Alexander Isak from Real Sociedad for a club record fee of £60million.
Ramos is valued at around £25million, which the Red Devils are unwilling to go above, after Erik Ten Hag exceeded his transfer budget in the summer. Man United are short of options at centre-forward following injuries to Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford, with a 37-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo their only recognised striker.
Bayern Munich are also reportedly tracking Ramos after failing to fill the void left by the legendary Robert Lewandowski, who left the Allianz Arena for Barcelona in the summer.
