With Newcastle United 's patience beginning to wear thin regarding the Hugo Ekitike deal, some reports are linking the Magpies to a deal with Chelsea for their young forward, Armando Broja. The 20-year-old, who is an Albanian international, spent last season on loan at fellow Premier League club Southampton, where he scored six Premier League goals.
Broja has found game time at his parent club Chelsea difficult to come by, and so a move to another top flight outfit may suit him well, as he will be looking to keep proving himself in the Premier League.
Moussa Diaby update
Newcastle also continue to be linked with French winger Moussa Diaby, who currently plays for Bayer Leverkusen in Germany. Speculation never ceases regarding the future of United's current French wide man, Allan Saint-Maximin, and if for some reason he were to leave Newcastle, Diaby would be an ideal replacement.
Reports suggest that Newcastle would offer in the region of £35 million for Diaby, although Leverkusen would prefer an sum closer to the £50 million mark. Diaby has also been linked to PSG, and so should Newcastle move in for him, they would face strong competition to secure his signtature.

Gabriel Barbosa offer
Various outlets are hinting that Brazilian forward Gabriel Barbosa is to be offered to Newcastle this summer, by his current club Flamengo in Brazil. The 25-year-old boasts an impressive goal-scoring record in Brazil, although failed to make a significant impact during his brief spell in European football at Inter Milan between 2016 and 2020, spending much of it on loan back in Brazil.
It would now appear that he is ready to test himself in Europe again, with several clubs reportedly interested in acquiring him. Newcastle are in need of another striker and Barbosa could be exactly what they need.
