Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe recalled Callum Wilson to his starting line-up at the Emirates Stadium.
Wilson replaced Chris Wood in attack with Miguel Almiron and Joelinton either side of him meaning the wait goes on for Allan Saint-Maximin. Nick Pope started in goal with a back four of Kieran Trippier, Fabian Schar, Sven Botman and Dan Burn.
In midfield Joe Willock started against his old club while Sean Longstaff and Bruno Guimaraes were also named in the engine room. Howe also named Martin Dubravka on the bench for the first time since his loan at Manchester United was cut short.

There was no place for Ryan Fraser on the bench once again while Matt Ritchie was handed another stint on the bench. Jamaal Lascelles is still waiting to build on his one Premier League start of the season.
