Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe says that he and the club's owners must "adjust" to being viewed differently by rival clubs.

Howe understandably can't go into a list of near misses close to the deadline. But did say he'd experienced a change in attitude during the most recent trading period.
When asked if clubs now see United as "a threat" Howe told Chronicle Live: "That’s your words not mine but yeah. "I think you’re on the right lines. "I think it is potentially difficult for us.
"It depends on the player and it depends on the club but I think we’re probably aware we are seen differently this season to how we were last season.
"We are viewed differently probably by some clubs now and that is something we will have to adjust to."
