Newcastle United supporters eulogised Miguel Almiron after his fifth goal this season helped the Magpies secure a vital three points. The Paraguayan's first-half screamer was enough to separate the two sides as Eddie Howe's men picked up another win, but remained sixth in the Premier League.
For context of Almiron's resurgence, 36% of his top-flight goals have come in 2022-23. Nick Pope also kept his fifth clean sheet of the season - maintaining Newcastle's record as the sturdiest defence in the division.
Defeat for Everton leaves Frank Lampard's side 15th in the table after 11 games. Just two wins this season has the Toffees lingering one point above the relegation zone.
