Newcastle United fans have been reacting to the new that Eddie Howe has named Joelinton in his starting XI to take on Fulham in the Premier League.
A win for Newcastle against the Cottagers would see them move just one point behind second-placed Manchester City. Howe will be looking for his side to repeat the performance that saw them beat Leicester City 2-0 in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals earlier this week.
Goals from Dan Burn and Joelinton saw the Magpies set up a semi-final clash with Southampton as they edge one step closer to a Wembley final. For now though, thoughts of ending a 54-year wait for a major trophy will be put on hold as the focus shifts back to the top-flight once again.

Newcastle ran out 4-1 winners the last time these two sides met back in October, as goals from Sean Longstaff, Callum Wilson and a Miguel Almiron brace wrapped up three points in style. Marco Silva's team - led by former Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrovic - will be looking for revenge at St James' Park.
The London club are unbeaten since the World Cup break, winning their last four successive league matches. Ahead of kick-off, Howe had some difficult choices to make when naming his starting XI, including whether or not he should involve Joelinton after the Brazilian was charged with drink driving on Thursday.
The Magpies boss gave the 26-year-old the green light and welcomed him back into the fold as he kept the same starting XI that beat Leicester. As news of Joelinton's place in the first-team broke, the majority fans reacting on social media were pleased to see him included.
