Newcastle United are still hopeful of signing at least one player ahead of this weekend’s huge match with Leeds United at Elland Road.
Although two consecutive victories have opened up a strong buffer between Leeds and the relegation zone, Saturday’s clash with the Magpies remains crucial as they look to ease any fears of a bottom three finish.
Opponents Newcastle, however, will know that they must start putting some wins on the board to ensure they have any chance of staying in the division.
