Away the lads! What a way to start a three-match mini tour outside Newcastle's place of worship. Now let us have another capital show fellas!
West Ham were put to the buck 5-1 and so it is on to Brentford. Champions League here we come. In a season when records have tumbled like confetti in the wind United have produced yet another set of impressive figures.
No Premier League side has lost fewer away matches than the Magpies two. Not Manchester City (3), not Spurs (5), not Manchester United (6), not Chelsea (6), certainly not Liverpool(8). Only runaway leaders Arsenal can equal Newcastle's couple of losses.

The latest away win a surprise? Naw, it was written in the stars. Callum Wilson always scores against West Ham and his return to the starting line-up produced two more - that is 12 in 13 games against the hopeless Hammers.
Surprise? As I've said, no way. United always win in London these sunny days. Be warned Brentford.
We went through a period when Newcastle were unable to buy a goal. Now they are piling them high. All five came from centre-forwards - Wilson two, Alexander Isak, and Joelinton two. Leastways United in the old days when Big Joe first arrived thought he was a No 9!
There is a right little competition going on between Wilson and Isak. Who should start? And who is going to finish up with the most goals at the season's end? Callum now has 10, one behind leading scorer Miggy Almiron who is out injured, while Alexander has seven.
It was a huge call by Eddie Howe to start Wilson ahead of an on-fire Isak but it worked two fold as most things United's manager touches does at the moment. Many United supporters would love to see Wilson AND Isak put in harness together but, hey, how can you criticise Howe? He likes one central striker and two wide men and that format has United where they are in the table.
Besides if Wilson and Isak produced a master class in finishing then United can easily Dial M For Murder with Murphy and Maxi murdering poor old Moyes as the assist kings. Sure, West Ham committed suicide at the back but the mood United are in there was only ever going to be one destination for the three points.
Newcastle panicked them into mistakes, typically on the goal when 2-1 turned to 3-1 and the home side were dead. Murphy's high press brought the ultimate reward for a style of play United have perfected.
By all that is sane Brentford ought to make a lot better fist of it than the Hammers, but they will still be aware of the clout their opponents can have. Back in October United coshed them up here by exactly the same 5-1 scoreline.
Howe has a favourite saying - he repeatedly talks of players being "in a good place". Well United are certainly in a good place right now. Third top, only three defeats in all 28 PL games, only 20 goals conceded.
If there is the smallest of blemishes - and it feels almost sacrilage to mention it - then it is that Joelinton is probably heading towards yet another suspension. This was his first start since a two-match ban and he received his customary yellow card. It was his 11th of the season and 15 means sitting out three games.
In fairness it must be said that Big Joe was truly magnificent as so many were. Wilson back on the goals trail with three in a game and a quarter, Maxi with two assists in United's last two wins on crucial goals, Murphy who has learned to believe, Bruno who is boss of every midfield he plays in. And when you can bring on subs like Isak, Joe Willock, and Anthony Gordon then, brother, you are in a good place.
Brentford spent 74 relentless years outside of England's top-flight football until a couple of seasons back, often not even having their nose pressed against the window looking in. There was too much distance between them and the elite.
They were indeed Just A Bus Stop in Hounslow as folklore tells us. Nowt of significance on soccer's landscape. Until now.
The Bees are currently sweet as honey, buzzing around the top echelon of the Premier League when to all intents and purposes they ought to be fighting a forlorn battle to avoid relegation. However if they provide a warning for rampant United not to get above themselves then we provide much more of a warning to them. Bring it on!
