The international break is coming to an end and Premier League football is set to return this weekend. Newcastle United travel to Tottenham Hotspur in what is another important fixture in their pursuit of staying in the top-flight. However, a number of Magpies stars are still in action for their countries in the coming days, before returning to England for the final nine league matches.
Newcastle have a tough-looking run-in on paper, with Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal all to come before May 22. Although the Magpies currently sit nine points above the relegation zone, they haven't yet confirmed survival and Eddie Howe will be hoping every player returns fit and ready for the trip to Tottenham. Martin Dubravka and Fabian Schar have already pulled out from their countries' camps through injury.
So, with that in mind, ChronicleLive have taken a look at who is still set to play an international game this week.

Miguel Almiron - Paraguay
After scoring in Paraguay's win over Ecuador, Almiron will be hoping to continue his rich vein of form for his nation when they face Peru on Wednesday. Paraguay sit eighth in the South America World Cup qualifying group, having won just three of their 17 matches. The game is set to kick-off at 19:30 ET and will be broadcast on Sky Sports.
Chris Wood - New Zealand
Wood's New Zealand face the Solomon Islands in the Oceania World Cup qualifying final on Wednesday as they look to book their place at the tournament. The Newcastle striker has already scored four goals in three matches during his international break, having netted against Fiji and New Caledonia.
Oceania, which does not have an automatic spot at the World Cup, is staging a mini-tournament in Doha to decide which team advances to an intercontinental play-off for a place at the finals. The winner of the final will face the fourth-placed team from the CONCACAF region, which features sides from North and Central America.
Bruno Guimaraes
The 24-year-old only needed eight matches to make an impact for Brazil in their 4-0 demolition of Chile on Friday. However, Guimaraes will be looking to make a bigger impact when they face Bolivia. The game is set to kick-off at 0:30am ET on Wednesday morning, with Brazil already qualified for the World Cup.
Emil Krafth - Sweden
Sweden are back in action on Tuesday evening (kick-off 19:45) when they face Poland in the World Cup qualifying play-off final. The two sides met last summer at Euro 2020, when Sweden came out on top in the group-stage match, but only one of them will be in Qatar in November.
Sweden needed extra-time to reach this stage, beating Czech Republic 1-0 in the semi-final, while Poland automatically moved through to the final after Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Krafth could be set to feature for his side, with the game set to be shown live on Sky Sports.
