It was a mixed weekend for Newcastle United's loanees across the Sky Bet Championship and Scottish Premiership. Midfielder Isaac Hayden was the only absentee with the Norwich City loanee still injured with Jeff Hendrick and Karl Darlow playing 90 minutes whilst Ciaran Clark and Garang Kuol both made the matchday squad for their respective sides.
Here is ChronicleLive's latest loan round-up.
Karl Darlow - Hull City
It was a perfect Friday night for Darlow who kept a clean sheet as Hull beat Championship play-off hopefuls West Bromwich Albion 2-0 at home to keep their own play-off aspirations alive.

The goalkeeper was brought into the side last Saturday as the Tigers lost 1-0 at Bristol City but managed to keep out the Baggies with it looking likely that the Englishman will remain Liam Rosenior's first-choice for the remainder of the campaign.
Jeff Hendrick - Reading
Contrastingly, it was an afternoon to forget for Hendrick upon his return to the north-east as Michael Carrick's Middlesbrough demolished Reading 5-0 in the Championship on Saturday. Braces from Championship top scorer Chuba Akpom and Aaron Ramsey as well as a Marcus Forss penalty rounded off a miserable afternoon for the Berkshire outfit with the Irish midfielder played the full 90 minutes in his 33 league appearance for the Royals.
Ciaran Clark - Sheffield United
Clark was an unused substitute on Saturday afternoon as Sheffield United lost 1-0 at fellow promotion hopefuls Blackburn Rovers in the lunchtime kick-off. A fifth minute goal from Harry Pickering was enough for Rovers to pick up the three points as Clark was forced to watch on from the bench once again.
The 31-year-old has made just nine league appearances for the Blades with Paul Heckingbottom preferring his old guard in defence with John Egan, Chris Basham and Jack Robinson.
Garang Kuol - Hearts
Kuol managed 11 minutes for Hearts in their 3-0 Scottish Premiership victory over St Johnstone on Saturday afternoon, coming on with the victory secured. The 18-year-old has now made six appearances for the Edinburgh outfit since joining on loan in January and will be hoping to earn just his second start soon.
