Andy Cole has claimed Newcastle United 'don't need' Harry Kane when they already have Alexander Isak leading the line.
Isak's debut season at St James' Park has been partially marred by injury, but the Swede has marked his return to action since the turn of the year in style.
The 23-year-old has found the net five times in as many games and has bagged eight league goals in 13 appearances in total.

He has averaged 0.88 goals per 90 in the Premier League, and is showcasing the qualities which prompted Newcastle to splash a club-record fee of £63 million back in the summer.
Furthermore, Callum Wilson has hit double figures with 10 league goals in 22 games, and former Newcastle and Manchester United forward Cole believes the Magpies don't need to invest in another striker.
“Newcastle don't need to try to sign Harry Kane, they already have a very good centre-forward in Alexander Isak, I really like him," Cole told King Casinos.
"Isak has scored a few goals recently and he offers something totally different to Callum Wilson. Isak is more mobile, can run at defenders, has great awareness, can take the ball on the half-turn to get his shots off and runs in behind too.
"Newcastle have Isak and Wilson as backup, I'd be very surprised to see them try to sign any other striker, not just Kane.”
