Newcastle United land Dundee United goalkeeping coach Tony Caig as search begins for successor

Dundee United Newcastle United St James Park

Ambitious Newcastle United have landed Dundee United's goalkeeping coach Tony Caig.

Caig has left to take up a similar position with the big-spending Premier League club’s academy.

The 47-year-old had a spell at St James Park as a player and was keen to return to the North-east of England for family reasons.
