A developer has created a free-to-play Worldle-inspired game for Newcastle United supporters. TOONdle is a browser game that gives players six attempts at guessing the name of a different Newcastle United player every day.
As with Wordle and similar games that followed in its wake, coloured tiles indicate if players have guessed the correct letters in the right order. The solution can be any Newcastle United player's surname. Past players can be answers as well as the present-day squad.
When players submit their guesses, black, blue and grey coloured tiles show up. The tiles indicate if they have correctly identified letters in the answer's name.
