Newcastle United are the most expensive club to support home and away in the Premier League next season. That is according to research conducted by OLBG, who worked out it will cost a total of £3,302.97 to attend all 38 matches with the inclusion of train travel.
At £417, Newcastle actually have the fourth cheapest season ticket cost in the entire division (lowest adult price). However, it is the cost of train travel that make them the most expensive team to follow home and away.
Leeds United is currently their closest away trip in the Premier League, which at around two hours, is not exactly close by. Both of their near neighbours Sunderland and Middlesbrough are currently plying their trade in the Championship, meaning it will be another season without a local derby for Magpies supporters.
