Newcastle United remain in discussions with Belgian club KV Oostende amid talk of the Magpies' multi-club venture.
Officials have been around the table with the newly relegated Belgium club throughout this week. Sources in Belgium say that a "delegation from Newcastle" have paid a visit to Oostende's KVO Stadium and training complex.
Newcastle are in discussions with Oostende's American owners as they look to expand their network into Europe. It is believed that Oostende have already held talks with both Wolverhampton Wanderers and AFC Bournemouth.

United are yet to confirm whether there has been an official bid despite talk of PIF offering £10million to buy the struggling club. Speaking about the potential of a feeder club or the multi-club model, co-owner Amanda Staveley said: "Obviously we’ve looked at multi-club. Whenever you look at multi-club, you’ve got to make sure you’ve got the right fit.
"It’s complicated and we’re also looking at another structure, maybe something a little bit different that gives us more opportunity to work with a lot more clubs (without buying stakes in them)."
Newcastle are also believed to have had contact from clubs across Europe about linking up as well as interest in Ireland and Scotland. But the process will continue on a step-by-step basis.
