Eddie Howe says that there will be some much 'loved' Newcastle United players heading for the exit door this summer. The Magpies lost 5-0 to Manchester City and they could not live with arguably the best team in the world for 90 minutes.
Howe hinted earlier this month that he would not make 'wholesale' changes to his squad. But he does accept that some stars will be going when the transfer window opens for business on June 9.
He said: "I think every summer I’ve been in management, I’ve had to make difficult decisions at the end of the season. Players that you love and have a great relationship with, sometimes have to leave for the benefit of the team.
