Newcastle United announce "long-term" deal for Elliot Anderson

Elliot Anderson has signed a new "long-term deal" at Newcastle United.

The 19-year-old has been promoted to the first-team this summer and has impressed on the big stage to leave Eddie Howe delighted.

A Toon statement read: "The 19-year-old has committed his future to the club after breaking into the Magpies first team this season under Eddie Howe, making four appearances - three of them coming in the Premier League - so far in 2022/23."
