Newcastle United took on Mainz in their final friendly of their summer pre-season tour of Austria.
Following on from Friday's 3-0 win over 1860 Munich, the Magpies stepped it up against Bundesliga opposition this afternoon but neither side were able to break the deadlock in the first half.
However, Delano Burgzorg's second half strike was enough to condemn Eddie Howe's men to their first defeat of pre-season this summer. Here's how Lee Ryder rated the Newcastle United players.

An imposing presence in midfield and made some fine clearances.
