Here is your latest 4am Newcastle United transfer digest.
'Tracking' Kudus
Mohammed Kudus is set to be a man in demand this summer, after rejecting an offer of a one-year contract extension at Ajax. The Athletic report the Ghana international is keen to leave the Dutch giants, with 'multiple suitors' credited with an interest in the 22-year-old.
Kudus was reportedly close to joining Everton last summer, with a deal being blocked by Ajax at the 'last minute'. However, this time around there is a growing expectation that an offer in the region of £40 million would be enough to complete a transfer.
Newcastle United along with Arsenal and Manchester United are said to be 'tracking' Kudus, although the report outlines other transfer targets may currently be higher on their respective shortlists. The attacking midfielder has registered 18 goals and six assists in all competitions this term at club level.

Eze on speculation
The Magpies are among a number of Premier League clubs to have been tentatively linked with Eberechi Eze in recent times. The former QPR prospect has impressed during his three-year spell at Selhurst Park, and has been in fine form since Roy Hodgson's return in March.
Eze has netted six times since as Palace moved comfortably clear of relegation danger, and is under contract until 2025. Asked about his future amid links to the likes of Newcastle, Liverpool and Tottenham, the winger insists he is not thinking about leaving the Eagles anytime soon.
Eze told reporters: ‘I’m not really too bothered about that. Im just focusing on the present. I want to continue enjoying it and contributing to the team as much as I can. I’m improving every game."
