Premier League clubs are wasting no time in welcoming new faces as Liverpool watch on.
The Reds have acquired Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai with Jurgen Klopp wrapping up their business before pre-season preparations began for the rest of the squad.
Manchester United welcomed their first fresh face through the door at Old Trafford this week as they ended the saga surrounding Mason Mount. The Red Devils ended the Chelsea midfielder's 18-year affinity with the Londoners as they lured him away from Stamford Bridge for £55m.
Newcastle United announced the signing of Sandro Tonali from AC Milan. Meanwhile, Arsenal are close to making their second and third signings of the summer ahead of their pre-season tour of America.

Manchester City
It remains quiet at the Etihad Stadium after Manchester City welcomed Mateo Kovacic from Chelsea. However, there are departures at City with Shea Charles close to being the latest academy prospect to join Southampton.
The Manchester Evening News are reporting that the under-21 captain is set to sign for the Championship side for a fee rising to £15m.
Arsenal
Arsenal strengthened their defensive ranks on Friday as they tied down William Saliba to a long term contract. The Frenchman had a year remaining on his existing deal but has now penned a four-year extension.
It is said that he will earn £190,000-a-week with Mikel Arteta's side. The Gunners felt the importance of the defender when he suffered an injury that ruled him out of the Premier League title run-in that Manchester City went on to win.
According to the Evening Standard, Declan Rice passed his medical ahead of a move to the north London club. Both the capital sides agreed a fee of an initial £100m for the West Ham captain with a further £5m expected in add-ons.
He forms part of the influx of the £200m talent arriving at the Emirates Stadium following the acquisition of Kai Havertz from Chelsea, while Jurrien Timber is close to completing a £37.5m switch from Ajax.
Manchester United
The Guardian are reporting that Manchester United are closing in on their second and third signings of the summer. Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana and Rasmus Holjund of Atalanta are close to being welcomed through the doors at Old Trafford, it has been said.
In their report, the Red Devils are moving "swiftly" to complete the deal for the Cameroon shot-stopper as well as bolstering their attack with the Dane, Holjund.
Following the £55m arrival of Mount, Erik ten Hag is said to have devoted part of his budget towards replacing David de Gea. They're looking to sign the former Ajax goalkeeper at a reduced fee and are said to have made significant progress in talks with the Champions League finalists in recent days.
Holjund is said to have been rated around £85.4m but United are looking to start the bidding at around £50m as it remains to be seen what it'd cost to convince the Bergamo side to sell. Harry Kane was previously linked but Tottenham Hotspur are said to be adamant that their captain will remain put.
Newcastle United
Newcastle United are close to making their second signing of the summer Harvey Barnes closes in on a move back to the Premier League.
The 25-year-old looks set to follow former Leicester City teammate James Maddison out of the Foxes following their relegation to the Championship.
Barnes has been a target of West Ham and Aston Villa, with the Hammers said to be front of the queue previously, but Eddie Howe's side have marched in front, reports the Telegraph.
It is thought that Newcastle are looking to pay closer to £35m, as opposed to Leicester's £40m valuation.
According to Corriere dello Sport via Metro, the Magpies are set to hold talks with Federico Chiesa's agent and rival Liverpool.
The Italian is linked with a move away from the Serie A giants this summer after enduring a difficult season in Turin. A tumultuous period at Juventus has saw them embroiled in a legal battle which resulted in a points deduction, subsequently meaning they miss out on Champion League football.
It has been repeatedly claimed that they will be forced to sell some of their highest earners including Dusan Vlahovic and former Reds loanee Arthur Melo.
However, the latest reports suggest that Chiesa's agent will fly to the capital to hold talks with the Reds as well as Newcastle. In recent weeks figures up to £50m have been touted for the attacker's services.
Chelsea
Another exit is looming at Stamford Bridge as American star Christian Pulisic is close to penning terms with AC Milan. The Chelsea midfielder is likely to follow Ruben Loftus-Cheek at the San Siro after the England youngster completed a permanent move to Italy earlier this week.
Fabrizio Romano says the deal is worth in excess of €20m with add-ons as the 24-year-old pushed for a move away from south London.
In a tweet, he said: "Excellent relationship between Chelsea and AC Milan was crucial to get Pulisic deal done today. Player was pushing since Monday to join Milan, not considering any other club or destination.
"Deal worth more €20m with add-ons. After Loftus-Cheek, Pulisic also done."
