Chris Wood will lead the line for Newcastle United in their final fixture before the World Cup break. The Magpies could close to within two points of champions Manchester City with victory over Chelsea on Saturday evening.
Callum Wilson earned a call-up to England's World Cup squad, but illness has prevented the number nine from training with his team-mates this week. The 30-year-old takes a spot on the bench, with Wood supported by Miguel Almiron and Joelinton on the flanks.
Eddie Howe has named six changes to the much-changed lineup which earned a midweek penalty shootout win over Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup. Miguel Almiron, Sven Botman, Bruno Guimaraes, Fabian Schar, Kieran Trippier, and Joe Willock all returned to the starting eleven.
