The sky lounge in Newcastle has launched a new à la carte menu which takes in a wide expanse of international cuisine.
The popular 3Sixty bar-restaurant on the 26th floor of Hadrian's Tower, the city 's tallest building, is now offering the likes of Himalayan salt-aged rib eye; pan-fried Scottish scallops and 48-day aged Wagyu sirloin steak which diners can enjoy alongside its 360-degree views over the city and beyond. Head chef Bruno George Chapim has come up with the new menu which is inspired by his experience of food from across the world.
His idea of a global culinary journey reflects different cultures and flavours ranging from South Korea to Italy and - with an emphasis on seasonal dishes and a choice of small or large plates - his aim is to create a lavish experience for customers who can try such treats as Korean pork bao buns; black ink linguini; lasagne bites and wild mushroom risotto.
