Lola Jeans has been crowned the winners of Newcastle's Battle of the Burger competition for another year - with visitors loving their Monster Munch-topped creation.
A whopping 20,000 burgers were consumed during the two-day quest to discover the city's best burger as hundreds headed to Wylam Brewery in Exhibition Park to taste the delights on offer from local vendors. North East favourites such as Parm-O-Rama, Jam Jar and Scream for Pizza served up a selection of burgers in the hope of beating the now six-times winners, Lola Jeans, to the top spot.
But they were unable to beat the reigning champions who won visitors' votes with their creation, Tickle the Pickle - a beef burger served with smoked streaky bacon, American cheese, red onion jam, pickles, ranch and topped with pickled onion Monster Munch crisps.
