Anthony Gordon has given the first verdict on life behind the scenes at Newcastle United with Amazon Prime filmmakers. The January signing is adamant the camera operators are 'not bothering anyone' as they bid to make a 'good documentary' about the Magpies.
Rumours about Newcastle's involvement in an Amazon Prime series first emerged last summer, with interest on events at St James' Park heightened by the takeover in October 2021. Eddie Howe was coy when initially asked about a potential show, raising concerns over the level of access that would be required.
However, Sky Sports confirmed last month that a four-part series on Tyneside was currently in the works. It is not clear at this stage whether Newcastle will follow in the footsteps of Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham in being the subject of an All or Nothing series.

Gordon has so far made four appearances in black-and-white, missing out on the Carabao Cup final having previously represented Everton in the competition but making his full debut in the defeat at Manchester City. The 22-year-old was asked if it was 'surreal' to have cameras following the squad at the club's Benton base, but the forward insists the documentary-makers have been 'relaxed' so far.
He told the club's website: "No, to be fair they are pretty relaxed. They're not in your face with the cameras, they're really relaxed, really polite people. It's been fine, they're not bothering anyone. They're just making a good documentary, so it's been really good."
