Tottenham will be without captain Hugo Lloris for at least six weeks after the goalkeeper picked up a knee injury in the victory over Manchester City. Harry Kane scored the only goal of the game against the defending champions to close the gap to Newcastle United to one point in the race for the top four.
Eddie Howe's side still hold a game in hand over their nearest challengers, but were frustrated in their last outing in a home draw with West Ham. The Magpies travel to Bournemouth and then host Liverpool ahead of the Carabao Cup final at the end of the month.
Antonio Conte's side have recovered from a poor restart to the domesti season to register two successive victories. However, the Telegraph now claim Tottenham could be without their first-choice goalkeeper for potentially two months.

Initial fears suggested Lloris could miss the rest of the campaign with damage suffered to his knee ligaments. Tottenham hope the 36-year-old will not require surgery but the shot-stopper still faces an extended period on the sidelines.
Conte's side return to Premier League action with an away clash at Leicester City on Saturday, before travelling to AC Milan for the first leg of their Champions League knockout tie.
