POLICE have released a CCTV image after a fight broke out in a Newcastle pub, leaving one man with a laceration to the face.
Police were called to the Crown & Anchor Hotel just after 11pm on Saturday, August 24, to reports of an assault.
Officers were told two men became engaged in an altercation and a 52-year-old man was punched in the head. He suffered a laceration to the face but did not require medical treatment at the scene.
The alleged offender left the premises and police wish to speak with him as part of their investigation.
Police are seeking assistance to identify the person pictured in the CCTV image above as they believe he may be able to assist with enquires into the assault.
