Newcastle United joint-owner Mehrdad Ghodoussi has endeared himself further to supporters by posting a hilarious 'Photoshopped' image on Instagram.
Ghodoussi, husband of Amanda Staveley, regularly interacts with Magpies fans online and did so again - much to the amusement of supporters.
The 50-year-old businessman cropped his face on to an image of legendary goalscorer Alan Shearer scoring his final Newcastle goal against bitter rivals Sunderland in April 2006.
The caption read ‘If Carlsberg did owners…. #nufc #premierleague ’... a reference to the Danish lager’s trademark advertising campaign.
The Magpies’ co-owner had a Twitter exchange with Newcastle’s iconic number nine following Saturday’s dramatic 1-0 win against Leeds.
Toon fans were quick to respond to Ghodoussi's Instagram post and expressed their joy at having owners that communicate after a turbulent 14 years on Tyneside.
@jackc__2007: thank you for saving our season

UkNoD3: thats canny funny funny like, hahahaha
@StevenNUFC: "They'd probably be the best owners in the world" - to finish the Carlsberg tagline. #NUFC
