Newcastle make late Dele Alli transfer move amid Tottenham man's 'medical' at Everton

Newcastle United are trying to steal Dele Alli away from Everton in the final hours of the January transfer window.

That's according to The Athletic, who report that the Magpies want to sign the 25-year-old on a loan deal until the end of the season, despite mass speculation that the Tottenham midfielder is having a medical at Everton.

Fabrizio Romano tweeted this earlier: "Dele Alli to Everton, done deal and here we go! Full agreement reached with Tottenham, permanent move subject to medical in the next few hours. It’s done."
