Newcastle United had Callum Wilson to thank in their 3-1 win over Southampton.
The number 9 came off the bench at St James' Park to turn things around after a poor first half. But Wilson was left all smiles with two goals as he almost took the match ball home.

Nick Pope 7
Played his part with some important saves to lay platform for Newcastle in the second half.
Kieran Trippier 8
Ticked over 100 touches as he kept his foot on the gas and led Newcastle to victory.
Fabian Schar 7
Not at his sparkling best early on but did enough to help secure the points.
Sven Botman 8
A strong display which had the fans singing his name. Some important clearances.
Dan Burn 7
Recalled to the starting line-up and put in a gritty display with some important interceptions.
Bruno Guimaraes 8
Lost the ball to hand Saints an opener. But recovered with strong display and helped push Newcastle ahead 2-1.
Joe Willock 8
Not a great first half but delivered after the break. A good show in second half.
Joelinton 8
Seamlessly dropped back into midfield and helped run the show. Won his fair share of aerial balls.
Anthony Gordon 6
Got into good positions and showed good running. But lacked sharpness. Taken off at the break.
Jacob Murphy 6
Made a decent and honest fist of things. Tested the Saints throughout his stint on the pitch before being taken off.
Alexander Isak 8
Didn't get any real service in the first half so took the law into his own hands to set up team-mate. A class act.

Has had his chances in the first half. Clipped post after going clean through.

Switched flank with Gordon. Has had one ambitious effort and has done OK so far.
