Newcastle city centre food festival will be a 'safe space' for dogs this Bonfire Night

It's an event which is sure to add some warmth to a crisp autumnal day.

Another popular street food festival is returning to Newcastle city centre this week - and this time it will celebrate some of the best Indian cuisine that the North East has to offer. Local street food vendors will go head-to-head at The Argie Bhaji street food battle to be crowned the best Indian street food dish.

The event will take place at Wylam Brewery, in Exhibition Park, from 3pm on Friday, November 4 and midday on Saturday, November 5. And Argie Bhaji event organisers, 44Events, say the event will be a safe place for dogs during the Bonfire Night weekend with no fireworks set off at the event and instead will provide some extra treats for dogs.
