Jermaine Jenas believes Alexander Isak holds the key to Newcastle's bid for Europe ruling Liverpool as "all over the place."
Tottenham Hotspur are currently in the driving seat as they sit fourth - seven points clear of the Reds. The Magpies are on their tail as they sit two points behind Antonio Conte's side.
Liverpool's below-par season pits them seven points off the final Champions League place, upon the restart in the Premier League, they travel to title-chasing Manchester City.

Jenas, who made 110 league appearances for the St James' Park outfit, says the defence has been key to the success of Eddie Howe's side but their record signing could be the difference.
“This year has been brilliant for them. I love how Eddie Howe has done it. Defence has been key to get them where they are but Isak will be the one who needs a run from here to the end of the season," he said.
“Fans know there’s a player in there but he’s not got to the point to be relied on because of the injuries. But now looking at him and the confidence he has, he could be the one to get them into the top four.
“Liverpool and Spurs are all over the place and you have to say Brighton are in the mix too. But they will all lose games and Newcastle have more stability. If he can get the goals they will be in the top four.”
