Alan Hutton believes Newcastle United will be pulling off a significant coup once the appointment of Dan Ashworth as Director of Football is confirmed.
Ashworth resigned from his role at Brighton & Hove Albion last week and is expected to take up the position at the Magpies as the owners get to work on putting together a high-quality backroom team.
Newcastle are expected to appoint the 50-year-old before the summer but must agree to a compensation package with Brighton first.
