NZ leader backs anti-nuclear pledge in Albanese talks

New Zealand Prime Minister Chris Hipkins has vowed his country will remain nuclear-free despite plans for nuclear submarines to make up part of Australia's arsenal under the AUKUS pact.

Mr Hipkins met Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese at Parliament House in Canberra on Tuesday, where the pair discussed the economy, climate change, cost-of-living issues and national security.
