New Zealand's men and women's Sevens teams each enjoyed success at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham on the opening weekend of their tournaments, and celebrated in style by performing the Haka together.
As rugby fans we are accustomed to seeing the haka performed separately by the teams. For the men their legs are bent, eyes bulging and tongues sticking out. We watch the women traditionally maintain a more upright position, pursing their lips with their feet shoulder-width apart.
But the men and women performed together for this great communal celebration after both winning bronze at the Games.
