New York Opens Weekly Measles Dashboard as Statewide Cases Hit 57 and Virus Turns Up in Wastewater

New York State now publishes a weekly measles dashboard, giving residents county-level case counts for the first time in this outbreak. The New York State Department of Health launched the tool on Tuesday, September 15, and at the same time alerted the public and providers to rising cases in the Capital, Central, and Western regions of the state.

Fifty-seven cases have been confirmed statewide in 2026 as of September 12, six in New York City and 51 in the rest of the state.
