New York City has confirmed two more deaths tied to the Upper East Side Legionnaires' disease cluster, raising the total to 11 and making it the deadliest Legionnaires' outbreak in the city in a decade.
Health Commissioner Dr. Alister Martin announced the deaths Friday and said the cluster now accounts for 94 cases. He also said something the city had not been able to say at any earlier point: no patients remain hospitalized, and the last person in a hospital bed has recovered and gone home.
