The number of buyers registering with estate agents in London has surged in the first weeks of the year, according to new figures.
Agent James Pendleton, which has 10 branches in areas such as Fulham, Battersea and Clapham, said the increase reflected rising confidence in the capital’s property market, and the release of pent up demand from purchasers who had put off major life decisions since the start of the pandemic.
