It is the first New Year's Eve in three years where Wales will be partying under no coronavirus restrictions, so it is safe to say most places are pulling out all the stops. From pantomimes to theatre shows to parties, if you are looking to make any last-minute plans we have got you covered.
With just a few days to go before we celebrate the end of 2022 and ring in 2023, here are some last minute events that still have tickets available. All events listed had tickets available at the time of publication.

Les Misérables
Where: The Wales Millenium Centre
What: If you are looking for something different to do this New Year's Eve, what about catching a performance of Les Misérables at the WMC. The show starts at 2.30pm so it is perfect for those who know they won't make it to midnight to celebrate the New Year.

The Great Gatsby New Years Eve Soiree, Cardiff
Where: Coal Exchange Hotel
What: Party like the 1920s at the Coal Exchange Hotel in Cardiff this New Year's Eve. This is a modern take on Gatsby's extravagant parties. Guests will be greeted by showgirls, authentic Jamaican street food and cocktails. Fire performers will be on show in the courtyard alongside performances from Mista Trick, Mark Hill AKA the original Artful Dodger, and Fizzy Gillespie & Mr Trick. The dress code is 1920s glam and prizes will be handed out for the finest attire.

Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs
Where: The New Theatre
Tickets: From £25.50
What: A great one for the children. Featuring Ian 'H' Watkins, Gareth Thomas, Sian Reeves, Steve Hewlett and Mike Doyle. A pantomine with lots of laughs. There are two performances on New Year's Eve, one at 1pm and another at 5pm.

NYE: Afrodeutsche + Horse Meat Disco
Where: Tramshed
What: See in 2023 with the brilliant and disparate sounds of Afrodeutsche, a BBC 6 music resident, and Horse Meat Disco. Special guests Bodhi and Rotary Club Residents will also be performing. Starts at 8.30pm through to 3am.

New Year's Eve at Jacobs Roof Garden: Dancing in the Moonlight!
Where: Jacobs Roof Garden
What: A special event to bring in 2023. The gallery space will be turned into a glitzy dance floor with non-stop DJ entertainment throughout the night. Rooftop access all night long to show off the city's fireworks displays.
Tickets: There aren't many tickets left, and you can purchase them here for £30 + booking fee.
Depot NYE Party
Where: Depot
What: Welcome in the new year in style with a night packed with funky cocktails, soul vibes and a feast of street food to keep you dancing until the early hours.

New Year's Eve Dinner
Where: Parkgate Hotel
What: If you are looking for a more elegant New Year's Eve event, look no further than the Sorting Room at the Parkgate Hotel. Enjoy a gourmet five-course meal in a heady blend of bygone glamour.

District Presents NYE • Sosa + More TBA
Where: District Cardiff
What: A first of its kind event space situated in the heart of the welsh capital focused on creating unforgettable electronic music experiences. Artists include SOSA, Ammara and Lucas Alexander.

This Must Be Dirty Pop NYE Party
Where: Buffalo
What: Has 2022 been ‘the loneliest time’? Just like Carly and Rufus, Stacey Alford (pressplaywithstacey) and Dirty Pop’s Ian have come together to bring you the best dancefloor to see in 2023. Ian and Stacey will be playing the best in pop, electronic, indie and disco dancing NYE at Buffalo.

New Year's Eve Dinner Dance
Where: Park Plaza Cardiff
What: Hosted in the Park Suite with an arrival drink and three-course dinner followed by a disco to dance your way into the New Year.
