The All Blacks have fallen back to their lowest ever position in the World Rugby rankings as Wales also dropped despite not having played a Test match in nearly 50 days.
New Zealand had fallen to a nadir of fifth at the start of the month, only to briefly bounce back to fourth after a win over South Africa. Victory over Argentina would have seen Ian Foster's side climb further up the rankings to third.
However, a 25-18 loss - their sixth loss in their last eight Test matches - has seen the All Blacks fall once again. As for Argentina, their reward for a first victory over the All Blacks on New Zealand soil is to move up to seventh in the world.
Australia's victory over South Africa also sees them move up from seventh to sixth, meaning Scotland drop two places to eighth as both the Pumas and Wallabies leapfrog them. All of that pushes Wales further down to ninth.
The top three remains unchanged, with Ireland still number one ahead of France and the Springboks.
