New village planned near Edinburgh with 400 homes, shops and a health centre

Edinburgh Council Midlothian Council Straiton Midlothian

A new 400-home village is being planned on the outskirts of Edinburgh.

Located on the opposite side to the popular Straiton Retail Park, that includes Ikea, Costco and other retailers, the project will see the development of a '20-minute neighbourhood'. Hundreds of homes are in the pipeline along with shops
