A sister venue to Scruffy Murphy's is set to open on Mathew Street in July.
A year after their initial launch on Harrington Street, the company behind the American/Irish-themed bar, Harrison's Bar Group, are planning to launch another to build on its success. The new venue acts as a sequel to the first, adopting the name Scruffy Murphy's 2.
Liverpool's famous and musically charged Mathew Street will house the new bar which is only a stone's throw away from the original.

The venue will take over The Tube 80s Bar with the refurbishment branded as a "big rip-out job." Scruffy Muphy's 2 will build on its already-established atmosphere and hopes to breathe a new lease of life into that area of Mathew Street.
Live music and sports broadcasts, along with open mic nights and karaoke, will carry over into the new venue to follow the Scruffy Murphy's style.
Nicola Halton, business development manager for Harrison’s Bar Group said: "This new location is very special as it is on possibly the most iconic music-based street on the planet, and we feel honoured to be a part of that legacy."
Scruffy Murphy’s 2 plans to launch in July.
