New Tottenham signing Richarlison is going to have to wait for his club debut as he looks set to miss the opening game of the season. That’s because, according to the Daily Mail, the FA are set to hand the Brazilian a one game ban that’ll carry into next season.
It comes after the striker was investigated for an incident in Everton’s 1-0 win over Chelsea back in May. Richarlison was the only scorer in a crucial victory for the Toffees in their survival campaign.
In the pandemonium of his goal, the 25-year-old rushed over to the home support and picked up a blue flare that was thrown onto the pitch. He then threw it back into the crowd, launching the investigation from the FA.
