The Witcher 3, which arguably stands the test of time as one of the best RPGs ever created over a decade on from its 2015 release, is indeed getting a new DLC.
This big news follows months of rumors surrounding potential new Witcher 3 DLC, as CD Projekt Red confirms that it's co-developing the expansion with Fool's Theory – a studio the team has closely worked with in the past on The Witcher 3 and other projects.
It'll feature our first big return to Geralt's adventures since Blood and Wine in 2016, making this quite the monumental moment for us Witcher stans.
Dubbed Songs of the Past, the new Witcher 3 DLC is set to release sometime in 2027 – but has no specific launch date just yet. For now, it'll come to PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
Notably, there's no word on any Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 version... or Songs of the Past's future arrival on older consoles, like the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
